"I was born a nurse,
morphed into a nurse educator,
and reborn as a Feng Shui Consultant."

Julie has worked as in nurse in many challenging environments. Often chaotic and stressful. Julie learned about the ancient art and science of Feng Shui by accident- although there are no REAL accidents! The Feng Shui presentation that replaced a professional workshop presenter in 2005, was the beginning of a journey of learning, self-exploration-including a trek through the Himalayas in Nepal. Her Feng Shui education deepened her commitment to holism and has decidedly focused her practice on educating and consulting individuals and groups on the benefits of Feng Shui- especially nurses!
Feng Shui Practice:
Julie practices Blact Sect Esoteric Buddhist Feng Shui. It was brought to the United States in the 80's by Professor Lin Yun and is sometimes called "Western" Feng Shui. The difference between Esoteric Buddhist Feng Shui and Classic Feng Shui is the use of the the Bagua and not the compass to adjust environments. Esoteric Buddhist style is based on intuition and intention-thus is personalized for the specific person and environment.
Workplace Cures: The Feng Shui Approach, was published July 2011, in
Beginnings, a publication of the American Holistic Nurses Association.
Julie is gifted Feng Shui educator and speaker. She has taught college level Feng Shui courses and brought Feng Shui to the community through library workshops and large groups at the Natural Living Expo. Her topics are interesting and offered in an easy to understand Power Point presentation. She presented at the 2012 National American Holistic Nurses Conference in Utah. The title of her workshop was Zen Nurse, Zen Patient: Creating the Right Environment. Julie is available for to speak at your community event, women's group, library or school anywhere in the New England area.
